Most People Planting Trees Simultaneously
The Kenya Scouts Association is attempting to break the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the "Most people planting trees simultaneously". We aim to mobilize 5,000+ Scouts at Jomvu in Mombasa County to plant trees in a synchronized effort.
Mangroves are vital for coastal protection, carbon sequestration, and supporting marine biodiversity. By planting mangroves, we contribute to Kenya's commitment to the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration and the #ScoutsforSDGs initiative.
Our QR-code based counting system ensures accurate, real-time tracking of all participants across 10 gates. Each Scout receives a unique QR wristband, scanned upon entry and exit for precise tallying.
In line with the Scout motto, we've prepared a robust system to capture every participant and ensure record verification. The event will be witnessed by official Guinness adjudicators and media.
Scouts from across Kenya are coming together to make history. Follow the live count as we attempt this monumental record.
